The shareholders of Burger King just rejected a proposal that would require a solution to add women to the company's all-male board.
During Thursday's annual meeting in Oakville, Ontario, the shareholders of Restaurant Brands International Inc. — owner of Burger King as well as Tim Hortons — shot down the proposal pledging to bolster its board with, specifically, more female members.
